Level 1 inspections and attention classes for over 190 road structures

Scope of work: Technical service for Level 1 visual inspections and the determination of Level 2 attention classes of road structures, under the guidelines for risk classification and management of existing bridges (Ministerial Decree 204/2022)

Project description

The assignment covered Level 1 inspections and the determination of Level 2 attention classes for more than 190 structures of different types and sizes, including pedestrian and cycle overpasses and road overpasses on the provincial network.

On-site campaigns used high-resolution photography, professional drone flights and measurement of the main elements, through to a survey of deterioration. Inspections were carried out by Accredia-certified inspectors using level 2 and 3 non-destructive testing methods, in line with UNI 11931:2024.
