Scope of work: Level 4 detailed assessment, under the ministerial guidelines, of the bridges managed by EDR Trieste, including geotechnical and material testing, and design of extraordinary maintenance works

Project description

The project covers the extraordinary maintenance of four bridges managed by EDR Trieste, with strengthening works on the structures and upgrades to the carriageway to improve the safety of the infrastructure.

Two bridges, on the SS 16 at Santa Barbara, are continuous box girders cast monolithically with their reinforced concrete supports; the other two, on the SS 15 Flavia and on a regional road, are simply supported reinforced concrete girders on concrete abutments.
